Maximum throughput with low power consumption.

Straight and fast. The crop flow.

An optimal crop flow is a major factor in determining the daily output. The crop flows in a straight line through the entire machine without any awkward angles. It makes no difference whether you are harvesting grass without the corncracker or are working in maize silage with it engaged. The crop is accelerated further at each step and is centred increasingly by the chevron arrangement of the knives and accelerator paddles. This results in maximum performance with minimum power consumption and makes for highly reliable operation. The JAGUAR demonstrates this time after time: with outstanding results – measured in terms of fuel consumption in litres per tonne.

V-CLASSIC chopping cylinder

Chevron-shaped knife layout.

The effectiveness of the 750 mm wide chopping cylinder in the JAGUAR is unique. The chevron-shaped knife arrangement produces a pull-through, guillotine cut with a minimum of effort. At the same time, the forage is guided towards the middle – this reduces wear and friction losses on the sides of the chopping cylinder housing.

The length of cut can be doubled by equipping the V-CLASSIC cylinder with half-knives. The half-knives enable a very consistent crop throughput which is ideal when harvesting grass or maize for long chopping and SHREDLAGE^®.

Silage quality.

Precise dosage with the CLAAS silage additive app.

Using the silage additive characteristics and the type of crop as a basis, the app helps you find the correct settings to deliver the required daily dosage, taking account of the capacity of the chosen tank. Once the manufacturer's recommended silage additive instructions and the key data of the JAGUAR been entered, the app calculates the precise dosage for the crop and the harvesting process. The silage additive app is available through CLAAS connect for Android and Apple.

CEBIS touchscreen.

The new CEBIS terminal reacts to a simple tap on the touchscreen. You have direct access to all the machine functions – e.g. to favourites management.

CMOTION favourites management.

You can program seven settings as favourites and access them by rocker switches on the CMOTION control lever. You can therefore concentrate on watching the front attachment and crop flow while your hand remains on the CMOTION control lever - when raising/lowering the upper discharge chute, for example.

CEBIS rotary/push switch and pushbuttons.

Using the rotary/push switch with the Escape and Favourites buttons, you can easily navigate the CEBIS control panel, even when operating in bumpy terrain, to perform tasks such as sharpening the knives or adjusting the shear bar, for example.

Lighting as bright as day.

LED work lights on the cab roof and at the rear turn night into day for you. The LED spotlight on the discharge chute pivots with the crop flow.

NEW: LED road lights, optional

Automatic control of the upper discharge chute.

AUTO FILL is based on digital 3D image analysis. The system takes care of controlling the upper discharge chute for you. With AUTO FILL, discharging to the rear is now also automated.

Optimal engine load with CRUISE PILOT.

The automatic control of the ground speed by CRUISE PILOT allows the programmed engine load to be used to the full. The operator specifies the desired engine load in CEBIS by setting the corresponding engine speed. CRUISE PILOT is activated easily by means of the control lever. The JAGUAR now adjusts its performance to operate at the set engine load all the time. If the crop suddenly becomes more dense, the ground speed is reduced automatically. If the crop density diminishes again, the JAGUAR increases the ground speed until the preset engine load is attained. This automatic adjustment is based on the detection of the throughput and the engine load.

The chopping mechanism is driven directly from the engine main clutch via a pre-tensioned powerband – entirely maintenance-free
The disc brake attached to the main clutch ensures that the chopping mechanism stops rapidly when the main drive is switched off, thereby enhancing safety, QUICK STOP
The direct drive enables highly efficient power transmission while also keeping the specific power requirement low – high efficiency
The front attachment is driven mechanically, the connection is provided by a quick coupling – extremely convenient

NEW: Sustainability.

HVO fuel (DIN EN 15940) is used for the initial fuelling of the machine, as supplied ex factory. Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil is a synthetic diesel fuel whose pollutant emissions are lower than those of fossil-based diesel as it is free of various pollutants, such as aromatics and sulphur compounds.
